Welcome
Capel St Mary is one of the few villages in the United Kingdom that does not have a War Memorial monument.
The Capel St Mary War Memorial Trust is working to raise money for a permanent memorial which is to be dedicated at 1100 hrs on the 11th November 2018. The 100th anniversary of the armistice. when the guns fell silent during World War I.
It will record the names of local men who gave their lives in the service of our country.
